Tattoo Aftercare

Congratulations on your new tattoo! Your brand-new tattoo was created by a professional to ensure a high-quality piece of tattoo art that you can wear with pride your whole life. Now, the rest is up to you. Strictly follow these easy aftercare instructions in the healing of your tattoo. Doing so, ensures maximum results in the healing of your tattoo and minimizes the chances for error on your part.

Steps for Healing

Step 1: Wash your hands. It sounds simple but this is an important step.

Step 2: Remove the bandage after 1 – 12 hours under running lukewarm water.
The water prevents the bandage from pulling on the tattoo

Step 3: Throw the bandage away.

Step 4: Wash your hands.

Step 5: Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and liquid antibacterial soap. Any hand soap from a dispenser will do. (Avoid bar soap, but if it is all you have, it is better than nothing)

Step 6: Allow your tattoo to air dry, or gently pat it with a CLEAN paper towel.

Step 7: Apply a thin amount of any non-scented or fragrance-free lotion to the new tattoo. Scented lotions tend to sting the skin after a new tattoo.

Repeat steps 4 - 6, two to three times a day for 14 days. Repeat step 7 after each washing and throughout the day, as needed, for 14 days.
